Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role based in Rajkot for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will oversee key accounting functions, which include financial reporting, preparing and maintaining accounts, performing audits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities also include managing budgets, analyzing financial data, and playing a pivotal role in supporting organizational financial health and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, GL entries)
• Prepare and review financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual)
• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax, and GST laws
• Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits
• Monitor costing and inventory accounting (important for manufacturing)
• Oversee MIS reporting and financial analysis
• Manage cash flow and working capital
• Ensure proper documentation and audit trails

Required Experience

• Experience: 5–6 years in accounting/finance
• Preferred background: Manufacturing / textile / recycling industry
• Strong hands-on experience in: GST compliance, Finalization of accounts, Audit handling.
• Experience with ERP/accounting software (e.g., Tally, Miracle)

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CA (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of:
• Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)
• Taxation laws
