Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior UK Accountant located in Ahmedabad. The role involves managing statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, personal tax computations, and compliance with UK regulations. The Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day bookkeeping, VAT compliance, payroll processing, and the preparation of financial reports. Responsibilities also include conducting financial forecasting, preparing management accounts, and providing strategic business advisory services. The candidate will liaise with clients to deliver tailored solutions for their financial and business needs.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in statutory accounts preparation, corporation tax returns, and VAT compliance
• Experience with bookkeeping, payroll, and auto-enrollment processes
• Proficiency in preparing management accounts and conducting financial forecasting
• Knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail abilities
• Proficiency with accounting software and other tools commonly used in the field
• Strong communication and client relationship management skills
• Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant or equivalent (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
• Experience in business advisory or strategic planning is a plus
• Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively
