Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically strong CA-qualified Finance professional with 2+ years of experience in financial reporting, month-end close, and regulatory compliance. The role involves end-to-end ownership of financial statements, reconciliations, and reporting in a global environment aligned to IND AS, US GAAP, and local statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close activities including accruals, prepaid amortization, cost allocations, and payroll accounting
• Prepare and review bank reconciliation statements and ensure accuracy across accounts
• Perform variance analysis (P&L and Balance Sheet) with insightful period-over-period explanations
• Support preparation of financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Notes to Accounts) as per Schedule III of Companies Act, 2013
• Manage fixed assets accounting and maintain fixed asset registers in compliance with US GAAP, Companies Act, and Income Tax Act
• Prepare and post journal entries while ensuring proper accounting classification under local GAAP
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and evolving business requirements

Required Qualifications

• CA qualified (B.Com + CA)
• 2+ years of experience in financial statements preparation and month-end reporting
• Strong understanding of IND AS, GAAP, and auditing standards
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/PeopleSoft preferred)
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
• High attention to detail, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently

• Exposure to multi-entity or US GAAP reporting
• Ability to handle tight closing timelines and stakeholder management
