NextStep HR is hiring on behalf of a top-tier hospitality company, for an experienced and strategic-minded Senior Accountant, a finance professional who can navigate the complexities of property-level profitability, multi-owner payouts, and high-growth financial scaling. This role is based at their corporate office in Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Team Leadership: Lead the accounts team to ensure high efficiency and operational accountability.
- Full-Cycle Accounting: Oversee AP/AR, payroll, general ledger, and timely financial closures.
- Financial Controls: Implement robust SOPs, internal controls, and monthly reporting structures.
- Strategic Planning: Manage budgeting, cash flow, and fund allocation to support company growth.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Coordinate with banks and auditors while managing owner payouts.
Requirements
- Experience: 35 years of experience in accounts manager (hospitality or lifestyle preferred)
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory audit compliances.
- Software Skills: High proficiency in Tally/Zoho Books and advanced Excel for data analysis.
- Hospitality Savvy: Skilled in managing complex property-level revenue sharing and payouts.
- Leadership: High ownership mindset with a proven track record in financial decision-making.
- Systems Driven: Ability to strengthen financial systems and scale them effectively.
