Position: Senior Accountant – Corporate Accounting

Job Description: You will be a part of Corporate Accounting team that will set up framework for efficient and effective business processes by adopting a global shoring model. You will have a unique opportunity enhance and maintain up-to-date knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, and support preparation of financial statements in local GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP for multiple entities.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

Your deliverables will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Carry out financial close processes in compliance with associated company policies, procedures and internal controls
• Compute and post GAAP accounting entries (leases, intangibles, impairment and other GAAP adjustments)
• Review of manual journals
• Conduct variance analysis and prepare reconciliations
• Intercompany transactions and balance confirmation
• Period end close, variance analysis of P & L, B & S
• Assist in audits and preparation of financial statements under US GAAP
• Consolidate Balance-sheet Reconciliations for entire group.
• Own numbers reported and responded to questions of Global Controller, CFO and investors
• Take up additional responsibilities to support period close process
• Create detailed accounting procedures and confirm compliance
• Drive accuracy and timeliness of all deliverables
• Chart of accounts and cost centre master management
• Demonstrate strong controls ensuring compliance all group policies and procedures

• Team player, ability to work with virtual, global teams, ability to work with limited supervision

• Good communication skills with the ability to interact with independent auditors
• Deep understanding of basic accounting principles and their application
• Strong communication and customer service orientation
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills
• Independent and meticulous with figures
• Expertise of working on spreadsheets and MS office
• Knowledge of Accounting system- Great Plains and Net suite is preferred

Educational Qualification: CA

Work Experience:2-3 years experience in similar role post CA qualification
