Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank statements and ledger accounts.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Support the year-end audit process and liaise with auditors.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure timely filing of taxes.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
