Role & Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for all accounts payable activities, accounts receivable, including but not limited to:
- Lead, guide, and review work of junior accountants, assign tasks and ensure timelines are met, support team development and process improvements.
- Should have experience in managing all aspects of accounts payable & accounts receivable activities.
- Maintain and update financial records including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
- Oversee client billing and ensure timely invoicing in coordination with account managers.
- Manage payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
- Support financial audits, both internal and external.
- Should involve coordinating with vendors or suppliers regarding purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
- Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and payments, ensuring proper bookkeeping practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Accounting or a related field (commerce background preferred).
- 56 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of different types of accounting records, including journals, ledgers, trial balances, and profit and loss statements.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and accounting principles.
- Proficient in using accounting software such as Tally and Zoho Books.
