Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Chennai. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, managing accounts payable/receivable, and overseeing financial reports. Additionally, the individual will coordinate audits, support month-end and year-end closing, and maintain internal controls. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and providing insightful financial advice to clients will also be a key part of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Financial Reporting, Budget Management, and General Ledger Accounting
- Experience in Tax Compliance, Audit Management, and Regulatory Adherence
- Knowledge of Accounting Software and Financial Analysis tools
- Strong Analytical Thinking, Problem-Solving, and Attention to Detail
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain financial data to non-financial stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA/CA certification preferred
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role, ideally within consultancy or a professional services firm
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment
