Role: Senior Accountant

Location: Koregaon Park, Pune (In-Office)

InCommon is hiring on behalf of an EPC firm that conceptualizes, designs, and delivers turnkey solutions for Indian industry. Operating across four verticals Defence Systems, Industrial Technologies, Affordable Housing, and Cybersecurity Altair identifies industry problems and builds end-to-end solutions to solve them, often becoming the OEM in the process.

About the Role We are looking for a Senior Accountant to take ownership of our books of accounts and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. This is an in-office role based in Koregaon Park, Pune, suited for someone with solid accounting fundamentals and hands-on experience across the full accounting cycle.

What you'll do

• Maintain and oversee books of accounts end-to-end
• Prepare and review financial statements, P&L, and balance sheets
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory filings and compliance
• Reconcile bank accounts, vendor ledgers, and customer accounts
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits
• Support the Finance Manager with MIS and reporting requirements

What we're looking for

• B.Com / M.Com; CA Inter preferred
• 57 years of accounting experience in a corporate setup
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax compliance
• Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or equivalent ERP and MS Excel
• Detail-oriented with strong ownership of deliverables
