Senior Accountant - Import/Export, Forex & Treasury

About the role

Uniglobal Distributors is a fast-growing e-commerce and distribution company based in Delhi. We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant who has handled both import and export accounting, foreign payments and receipts, banking channels and working capital management, with a thorough understanding of GST, TDS and TCS. This is an immediate requirement.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting, including books of accounts, reconciliations and month-end closing
• Handle import and export accounting: bills of entry, shipping bills, customs duty, freight and clearing charges, landed cost and export documentation
• Manage foreign payments and receipts, including remittances, FIRC/e-BRC, forex gains/losses and compliance with bank and FEMA requirements
• Coordinate with banks and manage banking channels, credit facilities, LC/BG and trade finance
• Plan and monitor working capital, cash flow and fund requirements
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), reconcile with books and GSTR-2B, manage ITC and handle export-related refunds/LUT
• Compute, deduct, deposit and file TDS and TCS, including returns and reconciliation
• Support statutory and tax audits, and prepare MIS for management

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Proven experience in both import and export accounting
• Hands-on experience with foreign payments and receipts, banking channels and working capital management
• Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS and TCS
• Proficiency in Tally/accounting software and MS Excel
• Must be a resident of Delhi; this is an on-site role
