Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in accounting and will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analysis.
- Ensure accuracy of financial records and timely closing of accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Perform reconciliations of bank accounts and other financial transactions.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
