This position will be responsible for:
- Daily and monthly balancing, reconciliation, and reporting of maintenance, owner, mortgage transactions.
- Preparing monthly reconciliations, performing research and/or assisting other team members on researching ledger accounts and bank reconciliations to minimize risk and protect company assets and document the findings for management.
- Facilitate month-end close process.
- Creating and recording complex journal entries in accordance with Generally
- Accepted Accounting Principles and with respective supporting documentation with an understanding of the financial statement impact.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
May or may not have direct reports assigned. If so, position will entail overseeing the work product of others, assigning projects and priorities, responding to questions and coaching, and evaluating performance.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required. MBA or relevant graduate degree a plus.
- Minimum four (5) years of relevant accounting experience.
- Timeshare/Hospitality industry a plus.
- Public Accounting experience a plus.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
CPA license a plus

- Proficient in Excel at an intermediate or higher level.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, detail-orientated and the ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to communicate effectively (written and oral).
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
- Must be able to establish productive relationships with internal and external partners.
- Ability to exercise judgment, handle multiple projects simultaneously with excellent problem-solving skills
