Senior Accountant

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Senior Accountant role located in Rajkot. The Senior Accountant will oversee daily accounting operations, including the preparation and analysis of financial reports. Responsibilities include managing general ledger entries, reconciling accounts, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, maintaining budgets, and guiding junior accounting staff. The role also involves preparing tax returns and collaborating with team members to optimize financial strategies.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial reporting, general ledger management, and financial analysis
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Strong knowledge of compliance, tax regulations, and accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
• Technical expertise in accounting software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams and provide mentorship
• Professional certification like CPA or CA is highly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
