Job Summary:
We are hiring a Senior Accountant for a logistics company handling Sea & Air shipments across international markets including the US, UK, Dubai & China. The candidate should be capable of independently managing end-to-end accounting, taxation, compliance, reporting, and shipment-related financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle complete accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, and finalization of accounts
- Manage freight accounting, shipment costing, vendor/customer reconciliation, and overseas transactions
- Coordinate and maintain documentation related to FPIs (Foreign Portfolio Investments) and ODIs (Overseas Direct Investments).
- Prepare GST, TDS, MIS reports, and financial statements. Handle import-export accounting, forex transactions, and banking coordination
- Handle Investor Relationship documentation, reporting, and communication support when required.
- Monitor and manage company Cashflow, fund utilization, and banking operations.
- Ensure compliance with RBI, FEMA, and international financial regulations applicable to overseas business operations.
- Coordinate with operations, vendors, shipping lines, and overseas agents
- Support audits, compliance, budgeting, and financial reporting
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, and financial reporting
- Experience in logistics/freight forwarding accounting preferred
- Good understanding of import-export and international transactions
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, MIS), and ERP systems
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills
Qualification:
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter preferred
- Minimum 4+ years of relevant accounting experience
Preferred Industry Background:
Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Shipping, Supply Chain, Import-Export, or International Trading.
