About the Company
Gxpress Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is a growing logistics and freight solutions company engaged in international and domestic cargo movement. We are seeking an experienced and highly responsible Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations, ensure statutory compliance, and support management with accurate financial reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the company's day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts.
- Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly/quarterly financial summaries for management.
- Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and vendor/customer reconciliations.
- Ensure timely filing and compliance of GST returns, TDS filings, and other statutory requirements.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor company cash flow and financial transactions.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits and assessments.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with financial and statutory regulations.
- Support budgeting, financial planning, and cost monitoring processes.
- Identify areas for improving financial controls and accounting procedures.
- Guide and supervise junior accounting staff where required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com / M.Com).
- 610 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally and advanced MS Excel.
- Experience in handling audits and coordinating with external consultants.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain financial confidentiality.
- Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or trading companies will be an added advantage.
