Senior Accountant Generalist (10–15 Years Experience)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Accountant with 10 to 15 years of accounting expertise to manage and oversee the financial operations of the company. The role requires an individual based in Gurgaon who can join immediately and work from the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end accounting processes, including GL management, reconciliations, and finalization of accounts
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., GAAP/IND AS) and tax regulations
- Manage internal and external audits
- Oversee payroll, TDS, GST, and statutory filings
- Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Develop and implement internal financial controls and accounting policies
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
- Liaise with external consultants, vendors, and banks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA Inter / CMA preferred)
- 10 to 15 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Strong working knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and statutory compliance
- Proficient in accounting tools (e.g., Tally ERP, SAP and MS Excel
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
- Must be located in Gurgaon and available for immediate joining
- Knowledge of ZingHR or any HR portal.
