Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team. The position involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial statements, ensuring statutory compliance, monitoring receivables and payables, coordinating audits, and supporting financial planning and reporting to ensure accurate and timely financial management.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • M.Com, MBA (Finance), CA Inter, CMA Inter, or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in accounting and finance.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime, Microsoft Excel, Word, and financial reporting tools.
  • Good analytical, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple financial activities.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow.
  • Ensure timely GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other statutory filings.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and provide required financial information.
  • Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
  • Verify invoices, payments, expense claims, and accounting records for accuracy.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve accounting discrepancies.
  • Support payroll processing and financial compliance activities.
  • Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of financial records.
  • Coordinate with banks, auditors, vendors, and government authorities when required.
  • Monitor financial controls and recommend process improvements.
  • Assist management with financial planning, business analysis, and strategic decision-making.
  • Achieve departmental objectives while maintaining compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
