About the Company
A high-growth, venture-backed SaaS company is building its founding India finance team and has partnered with Flexiple to hire a senior accountant. You will own the close from day one and set the standard for how the finance function operates as the company scales. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India.
Role Overview
As a Senior Accountant, you will own month-end close, own the general ledger, and build the processes a lean, fast-moving finance team needs.
Key Responsibilities
Close & Ownership
- Own month-end and year-end close end to end
- Build and maintain reconciliations, accruals, and schedules from scratch
- Make judgment calls on ambiguous accounting treatments and document them
Reporting & Process
- Prepare financial statements and investor-ready reporting packs
- Design scalable close processes as transaction volume grows
- Partner directly with founders and leadership on financial questions
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5 to 10 years in accounting with strong general-ledger ownership
- Comfort operating with ambiguity and building process from scratch
- Hands-on with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or a similar accounting system
- Clear written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setup
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualified CA, CPA, or ACCA
- Experience in a startup, SaaS, or subscription-revenue business
- Exposure to SaaS metrics such as ARR, deferred revenue, and churn
