Senior Accountant in our office in Bangalore

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, procedures and accounting standards.
• Payable and receivable schedules preparation and posting adjustments.
• Posting of entries to SAP and any other required system if needed.
• Banks, and Vendors reconciliations and follow up to adjust and solve any breaks.
• Updating accruals and prepayment schedules.
• Maintenance of Fixed Assets Register and Movement schedules.
• Support both internal and external audits.
• Payment and transfers processing.
• Work with regulators like Tax authority and other regulators.
• Work with the team to prepare the monthly closing tasks and review all the reports before submitting to Finance manger and then to the Groug Finance.
• Any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical skills.
• Deep knowledge and understanding of Indian tax,Vat and WHT regulations, and able to follow with their requirements.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen.
• Knowledge of computerized accounting packages (preferably SAP) and Microsoft office solutions (including Advanced MS Excel skills such as Vlookup and pivot tables).
• Strong interpersonal and management skills.
• Understanding of accounting and financial management issues.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Financial Accounting.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
