Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions.
Responsibilities
- Perform cash application procedures for all bank accounts US and India.
- Manage and calculate commission expense for US based sales team.
- Calculate depreciation and maintain fixed asset register for US and India entities.
- Perform AP, payroll and expense reimbursement for India subsidiary
- Support month end and year-end process for US and India entities.
- Perform variance/cost analyses and prepare account reconciliations for US and India entities.
- Participate in financial analysis and forecast/budget process for US and India entities.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies. to maintain and strengthen internal controls for US and India entities.
- Assist with tax filing, internal and external audits for both US and India entities.
- Assist in accounting system implementation and testing.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and India/US GAAP.
- Perform other duties as directed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, finance or relevant field.
- Understanding of India and US GAAP required.
- Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close process.
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements (NetSuite, Concur, Salesforce).
- Advanced MS excel skills including VLookups and Pivot tables.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills – both verbal and written.
- Must be proactive and efficient.
- Exceptional time management, organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Teamwork oriented, with excellent people skills.
