Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Perform cash application procedures for all bank accounts US and India.
• Manage and calculate commission expense for US based sales team.
• Calculate depreciation and maintain fixed asset register for US and India entities.
• Perform AP, payroll and expense reimbursement for India subsidiary
• Support month end and year-end process for US and India entities.
• Perform variance/cost analyses and prepare account reconciliations for US and India entities.
• Participate in financial analysis and forecast/budget process for US and India entities.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies. to maintain and strengthen internal controls for US and India entities.
• Assist with tax filing, internal and external audits for both US and India entities.
• Assist in accounting system implementation and testing.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and India/US GAAP.
• Perform other duties as directed.
  
  

Work Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, finance or relevant field.
• Understanding of India and US GAAP required.
• Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close process.
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements (NetSuite, Concur, Salesforce).
• Advanced MS excel skills including VLookups and Pivot tables.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills – both verbal and written.
• Must be proactive and efficient.
• Exceptional time management, organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Teamwork oriented, with excellent people skills.
