Senior Accountant

Seeking a Dynamic Accountant for an FMCG brand based out of Mumbai.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Manage cash flow planning and ensure the availability of funds for operational needs
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, budgets, and cost control
• Ensure timely and accurate GST filings, tax compliance, and audits
• Supervise and mentor junior finance staff (e.g., Account Executive)
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and banking partners
• Maintain accurate financial records using Tally, Excel, and Zoho CRM
• Provide strategic financial insights to the management team and support decision-making

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA Inter or MBA Finance preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial management, preferably in FMCG, retail, or hospitality industries
• Strong command over Tally, Microsoft Excel, and working knowledge of Zoho CRM
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, compliance, and taxation (GST, TDS)
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
