Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) operations ensuring timely and accurate month-end/period-end close activities
- Own General Ledger processes including preparation, review, and validation of journal entries
- Drive IFRS reporting and ensure compliance with IFRS standards across financial reporting deliverables
- Ensure high-quality financial reporting outputs including P&L analysis and account reconciliations
- Support SOX compliance by ensuring proper controls, documentation, and audit readiness
- Use Excel for data analysis, reconciliations, and reporting accuracy improvements
- Identify and drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in R2R processes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve reporting issues and ensure data integrity
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure compliance with financial policies
Skills Required:
- 10-15 years of experience in Record to Report (R2R) or General Ledger accounting
- Strong expertise in Financial Reporting and month-end close processes
- Hands-on experience with General Ledger accounting and Journal Entries
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and IFRS-based reporting requirements
- Experience in SOX compliance and internal control frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and reconciliations
- Strong understanding of P&L analysis and financial statement preparation
- Experience in large-scale finance operations or shared services environment
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills
- Exposure to process improvement initiatives (preferred)
Education: Any Graduation (Commerce/Finance background preferred)
