Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role based in Kozhikode. The Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliations. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring accurate and timely invoicing and collections. The role will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, support budgeting and forecasting, and analyze variances against targets. The Senior Accountant will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, coordinate with external auditors, and provide financial insights to management to support decision-making. The role will also help streamline accounting processes, implement best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as operations, procurement, and sales.

Qualifications (Priority for ERP/Odoo users):

• Strong accounting fundamentals (GL, journal entries, reconciliations, month/year-end close); solid experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Hands-on in AP/AR, credit control, and cash flow within commercial/industrial settings. Knowledge of accounting standards, tax, and compliance. Priority given to candidates with ERP experience (Odoo preferred; SAP, Oracle, or similar are a plus) along with strong Excel skills. Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines. Effective communicator with cross-functional teams and capable of guiding junior staff. Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance; professional certifications (CA, CMA, ACCA) are an advantage. Experience in a senior/lead role, ideally in manufacturing or distribution.
