Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Senior Accountant based in Hyderabad. The Senior Accountant will manage financial activities including preparation of financial reports, budgeting, and compliance. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing audits, optimizing accounting practices, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting skills, including expertise in financial reporting, balance sheet preparation, and tax compliance
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, filing GST/TDS and forecasting processes
• Experience with audit processes and ensuring adherence to financial regulations
• Knowledge of accounting software and tools with strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CA, or equivalent certification preferred
• Prior experience in the biotechnology or life sciences industry is an advantage
• Experience in ZOHO books is an advantage
