Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant at our office in Delhi, India. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial accounts, preparing and analyzing financial reports, handling tax filings, monitoring budgets, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supervising bookkeeping activities. The candidate is expected to assist with audits, reconcile accounts, develop financial strategies, and provide insights for efficient financial management. This role requires collaboration across departments to support business growth and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong grasp of financial reporting, bookkeeping, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in tax compliance, including income tax, GST, and other statutory filings.
- Advanced expertise in budget management, account reconciliation, and financial analysis.
- Experience with accounting software and tools such as Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.
- Keen analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across departments.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; a professional certification like CA or CPA is highly preferred.
- Experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing or appliances industry, is an advantage.
