Senior Accountant

Summary:

We are seeking a strong Accounting Financial Analysis expert with deep hands-on experience in analyzing customer books, particularly for small businesses. The ideal candidate should be highly analytical with strong accounting fundamentals and the ability to apply financial principles effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Gather financial data and ledgers.
• Consolidate and analyze financial statements and results.
• Prepare budgets and monitor expenditures.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Manage periodical reporting.
• Review general ledger accounts and prepare and adjust journal entries.
• Perform account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and, if applicable, inter-company general ledger accounts.
• Post monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals.

Requirements:

• 5&ndash6 years of relevant experience.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Professional Certification (e.g., CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) credential.

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in analyzing accounting data/customer books.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks.
• Strong understanding and application of GAAP principles.
• Experience as a Financial Analyst/Strategic Financial Analyst.
• Advanced system usage experience.
• Ability to provide insights and feedback on customer financial records.

Preferred Skills:

• CPA / CMA certification preferred.
• Exposure to Construction/Legal domain is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI tools/AI exposure is good to have.
