Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Accountant with 5–6 years of relevant experience, preferably in an IT services-based company. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with Tally, invoicing, banking operations, financial reporting, and forecasting. Candidates who have completed their internship/training under a Chartered Accountant (CA) will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Generate and manage client invoices, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor banking transactions.
- Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, and forecasting sheets.
- Maintain records related to GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
- 5–6 years of accounting experience, preferably in an IT services company.
- Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Hands-on experience in invoicing, banking operations, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Experience in preparing forecast sheets and financial analysis reports.
- Must have completed internship/training under a Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formulas, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling end-to-end accounting for a growing IT services organization.
- Familiarity with financial planning, budgeting, and audit processes.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Semiqualified Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
