Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Account Manager role based in Chennai. The Senior Account Manager will oversee a portfolio of key client accounts, acting as the primary point of contact to manage relationships, understand business objectives, and ensure high-quality delivery of digital marketing services. Responsibilities include developing account plans, coordinating with internal teams (strategy, creative, performance marketing, and development), and ensuring campaigns are aligned with client goals and timelines. The role involves monitoring campaign performance, preparing reports, analyzing results, and presenting insights and recommendations to clients. The Senior Account Manager will also identify opportunities for account growth, lead client review meetings, manage budgets, and support mentoring of junior team members to uphold service standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in account management or client servicing within a digital marketing, advertising, or related agency environment.
- Strong skills in client relationship management, stakeholder communication, and expectation setting.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Working knowledge of digital marketing channels and concepts (e.g., SEO, SEM, social media, performance marketing, content marketing, web development basics).
- Proficiency with reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, ad platform dashboards) and comfort interpreting data for business insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare presentations and lead client meetings.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities with a customer-centric mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Google Ads, Analytics, Meta Blueprint) are an advantage.
- Experience working with clients in sectors such as Education, Real Estate, Medical, Fashion & Apparel, FMCG, Consumer Durables, Technology, Retail, or Infrastructure is a plus.
