Job Overview:
We're looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Account Manager / Account Director to oversee and grow key client accounts. In this role, you will serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless communication and execution of events from start to finish. You'll lead a team of account managers and coordinators while driving strategy, fostering relationships, and maximizing account growth.
Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of high-value client accounts, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and growth.
Lead and mentor a team of Account Managers, ensuring efficient management of daily tasks, projects, and client relationships.
Collaborate with clients to define event objectives, create strategies, and recommend solutions that meet their goals.
Develop and manage account budgets, timelines, and event planning processes.
Oversee the delivery of events, ensuring they meet client expectations, are executed on time, and stay within budget.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor and point of contact.
Lead client meetings, presentations, and event strategy sessions, delivering clear and impactful communications.
Identify opportunities to expand accounts, offering additional services and solutions that align with client needs.
Ensure effective internal communication and collaboration with creative, logistics, and production teams.
Prepare post-event reports, analyze performance metrics, and make recommendations for future events.
Stay ahead of industry trends and maintain a network of potential vendors, partners, and collaborators.
Handle any issues or challenges that arise during the event lifecycle, ensuring resolution and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in account management or client services, with at least 2 years in a senior role within an event agency or related industry.
Proven experience managing and growing client accounts, with a strong track record of building long-term relationships.
Excellent leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
Strong understanding of event production, logistics, and vendor management.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
Proficient in budget management, strategic planning, and using event management tools/software.
Creative problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing client needs.
High level of attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
Experience managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously, under tight deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively and maintain strong internal and external relationships
