Industry -Steel manufacturing

Job Location - Lagos Nigeria

Brief Job Description

The role would be accountable for ensuring the prompt preparation of monthly management accounts.These accounts will be presented to the audit committee monthly. The role also involves timely preparation of monthly budgets, conducting variance analysis, performing cost analysis, and reconciling cost accounts with financial accounts.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

CA with 10+ years of experience of Budgeting,Accounting Costing in the manufacturing industry

Experience in financial Analysis, Commercial activities,

Africa experience would be an added advantage

Hands on experience of MIS reports and Compliance

Experience in working on ERP Microsoft Navison would be an added advantage

Roles & Responsibilities

• Budgets and variance analysis
• Timely preparation of monthly Budgets and variance analysis
• Cost analysis and reconciliation of Cost accounts with Financial Accounts
• Timely preparation of daily, monthly and quarterly MIS
• Co-ordination with the Finance team in HO to ensure that proper financial resources are made available to the unit.
• Commercial support to Unit CEO
• Analysis of Financial Information and highlighting the unusual variations/ trends
• Ensuring the timely preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Assisting the Accounts Head in making informed decisions.
• Vigilantly monitoring the credit control function.
