Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Specialist to manage financial reporting, Balance Sheet (B/S) reconciliation, Profit & Loss (P&L) analysis, month-end closing, and overall finance operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills and hands-on experience in financial accounting and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyze Balance Sheet (B/S) and Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
- Perform month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Reconcile General Ledger (GL) accounts and Balance Sheet accounts.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, provisions, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Analyze financial data, identify variances, and provide actionable insights to management.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit cycles.
- Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and management reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve finance processes and controls.
- Support process improvement and automation initiatives.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Finance, Balance Sheet (B/S), Profit & Loss (P&L), and General Ledger (GL).
- Knowledge of Financial Reporting, Accounting Principles, and Reconciliations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Power Query).
- Hands-on experience with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
