Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to oversee and manage end-to-end accounting, statutory compliance, tax filings, and financial reporting for our operations in Bangalore Karnataka. The candidate will take complete ownership of day-to-day accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), banking, GST/TDS compliance, payroll processing, and internal/external audit coordination using Tally Prime and advanced MS Excel.

Key Responsibilities1. Financial Accounting, Reporting & Ledger Management
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring strict adherence to Indian Accounting Standards.
  • Manage general ledger entries, journal postings, and comprehensive account reconciliations.
  • Maintain complete accuracy of books and prepare monthly cash flow statements.
  • Execute monthly closing of books of accounts within strict timelines.
2. Accounts Payable (AP) & Departmental Coordination
  • Verify vendor invoices against Purchase Orders (PO), Goods Receipt Inspection Notes (GRIN/GRN), and process timely payments.
  • Issue Debit Notes and Credit Notes as required.
  • Handle TDS deductions, vendor payments, and monthly vendor ledger reconciliations.
  • Verify and process employee travel advances and expense reimbursements across all departments.
  • Manage petty cash expenses for both office and factory operations.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Purchase, Stores, QC, Production, HR, Marketing, and R&D teams for day-to-day accounting requirements.
3. Accounts Receivable (AR) & Credit Management
  • Process customer orders and coordinate with Marketing, Sales, and Stores/Warehouse teams for dispatch execution.
  • Generate customer invoices, billing, and Debit/Credit notes for schemes or claims.
  • Track payment due dates, conduct regular follow-ups with customers, dealers, and distributors, and maintain customer aging reports.
  • Verify bank statements daily to track and record customer payment collections accurately.
  • Perform periodic customer ledger reconciliations and obtain balance confirmation letters.
  • Handle cheque bounce cases in direct coordination with the legal team.
4. Banking & Treasury Management
  • Prepare daily/monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
  • Assist in managing daily fund flows, working capital requirements, and banking transactions.
5. Taxation & Statutory Compliance (GST, TDS, Payroll)
  • File monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), generate E-Way Bills, and perform continuous reconciliation with GSTR-2B.
  • Assist in handling GST assessment proceedings and coordinate with tax authorities.
  • Calculate TDS liabilities, process monthly TDS payments, prepare TDS returns, and execute ledger reconciliations.
  • Compute and file statutory payroll dues, including Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), and Professional Tax (PT) in compliance with Karnataka state regulations.
  • E-Way bill generation on Government portal for shipping.
6. MIS Reporting, Audit & Inventory Control
  • Prepare monthly MIS reports, including Budget vs. Actual comparison and variance analysis.
  • Provide actionable financial insights and analytical data to management.
  • Lead and coordinate with internal and external auditors for statutory, tax, and internal audits.
  • Plan and execute periodic stock audits and inventory physical verification at factory/warehouse sites.
Required Candidate Profile & Qualifications
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) / M.Com / Inter CA or equivalent.
  • Work Experience: Minimum 5 -7 years of hands-on, end-to-end accounting experience (proven track record since Jan 2017 to date). Exposure to manufacturing or multi-channel retail/D2C / E commerce environments is a plus.

  • Technical Software Expertise:
  • Proficient in Tally Prime
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, financial modeling formulas).
  • Taxation & Legal Knowledge: In-depth working knowledge of GST laws, GSTR-2B reconciliation, TDS rules, and Karnataka PT/PF/ESI statutory frameworks.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to handle cross-departmental coordination, vendor negotiations, legal follow-ups, and auditor queries.
