About the Role
The Senior Executive - Accounts will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable:
- Generating invoices and account statements / reconciliations.
- Tracking and follow up for Purchase orders, Renewals and Collections.
- Maintaining accounts receivable records like Customer contract, Purchase Orders, and Invoices.
- Posting of sales entries in accounting software (Tally).
- Interact with India & Global Sales and Delivery & Operations team for reports / collections / clarifications.
Accounts Payable:
- Booking of vendor invoices as per the account standards in Tally.
- Scrutinizing of vendor invoices with reference to Purchase order / Approvals.
- Vendor Invoices follow up and Payments to vendor as per the terms.
- Reimbursement expenses verification and Corporate Credit card expenses verification.
- Maintenance of Vendor records Invoices, Purchase Order, Vendor Contracts etc.
- Interact with other departments for Raising Purchase Order etc.
Compliance:
- Month compliances TDS / GST / PF / ESIC etc.
- Coordination for completion of the Audit Internal / External for all the regions.
- Quarterly compliances Filing & Issue of Form 16A to vendors and stakeholders.
- Half yearly compliances Professional Tax.
- Annual compliance Labour Welfare Fund / Form 16 to employees etc.
Qualifications
- 3+ Years Accounting Experience
- Bachelor/ Masters degree in Accounts & Finance or any related field
- Experience with SaaS financials and SaaS revenue recognition desirable but not essential.
- The ability to think about the future and stay ahead of the curve smartly and efficiently is important.
- Tally, TDS, GST
- Experience working in the accounting department of a SaaS company or software company.
Required Skills
- Strong accounting knowledge and experience.
- Proficiency in Tally and other accounting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the Food Processing industry.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
