Job Summary
We are looking for a
Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations, statutory compliance, taxation, costing, and financial reporting. The candidate should have strong exposure to
manufacturing accounting,
GST,
TDS, and
month-end / year-end closing, and should support management in
financial planning, cost control, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Bookkeeping
- Maintain complete books of accounts (Sales, Purchase, Expenses, Assets, Inventory)
- Ensure accurate accounting entries in Tally / ERP / Accounting Software
- Handle month-end and year-end closing
- Maintain general ledger, reconciliations, and schedules
Taxation Compliance
- Prepare and file GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation)
- Handle TDS computation, payment, and return filing
- Support Income Tax workings and coordination with CA
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements
Manufacturing Cost Accounting
- Maintain inventory accounting (Raw Material, WIP, Finished Goods)
- Monitor consumable cost, production cost, and job-wise costing
- Analyze variance between standard cost vs actual cost
- Support pricing, margin analysis, and cost reduction initiatives
Banking Cash Flow
- Handle bank reconciliation statements
- Manage cash flow planning and fund utilization
- Coordinate with banks for routine documentation and audits
- Monitor receivables, payables, and credit control
MIS Reporting
- Prepare monthly MIS reports (P L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Generate reports for management decision-making
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Support internal and external audits
Coordination Controls
- Coordinate with operations, purchase, production, and sales teams
- Ensure proper documentation and internal controls
- Assist in process improvements and system automation
- Support company growth by implementing structured financial systems
Required Skills Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter (CA preferred but not mandatory)
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax basics
- Hands-on experience in Tally / ERP / Excel
- Good understanding of manufacturing accounting
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot, MIS reporting)
