About the Role
Concept PR is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Account Director BFSI to lead high-impact client portfolios within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance sector. This role requires a seasoned PR professional with strong industry knowledge, leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in managing large accounts and delivering integrated communication strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage key BFSI client accounts, ensuring delivery of strategic PR and communication objectives
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies aligned with client business goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and industry influencers
- Provide strategic counsel to clients on reputation management, crisis communication, and brand positioning
- Drive media relations, including top-tier media outreach, thought leadership opportunities, and coverage generation
- Oversee content development including press releases, media notes, leadership articles, and reports
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of account managers and executives
- Identify new business opportunities within the BFSI sector and support business development initiatives
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to provide proactive counsel
- Ensure profitability, account growth, and adherence to budgets
Key Requirements
- 1015 years of experience in Public Relations, with a strong focus on BFSI clients
- Proven experience in managing large, complex accounts and senior client relationships
- Deep understanding of the BFSI sector, including banking, fintech, insurance, and financial regulations
- Strong media network across business, financial, and mainstream media
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver under tight timelines
- Experience in crisis communication and reputation management is highly preferred
