Senior academic counselor

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Academic Counselor, located in Trivandrum. The Senior Academic Counselor will be responsible for guiding students in their academic and career paths, conducting student counseling, facilitating career counseling sessions, and offering expert academic advising.

The role also includes handling inbound and outbound telecalling activities, engaging with prospective students, managing and nurturing leads, and driving conversions through effective counseling and follow-ups. The candidate will provide education-related support and create an encouraging environment for learners to make informed decisions about their professional goals.

Additionally, the role involves maintaining a structured follow-up process, tracking leads in CRM systems, and collaborating with marketing and admissions teams to ensure a seamless student experience and improved enrollment outcomes.

• Experience in Student Counseling and Career Counseling
• Strong skills in Academic Advising and Education-related support
• Proven expertise in effective Communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in telecalling, lead generation, lead nurturing, and conversion strategies
• Ability to understand student needs and recommend tailored academic and career solutions
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Knowledge of the cybersecurity education domain is a plus
• Familiarity with CRM tools and sales funnel management is an advantage
