Senior academic counsellor

Role & Responsibilities

• Counsel prospective students and parents regarding academic programs, courses, and career opportunities.
• Understand student requirements and recommend suitable courses.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, follow up on leads, and convert inquiries into enrollments.
• Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions in the CRM system.
• Guide students through the admission and enrollment process.
• Build strong relationships with students and parents to ensure a positive experience.
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding and support.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline.
• 1–8 years of experience in Academic Counselling, Education Sales, EdTech, or Admission Counselling.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in target-based sales and lead conversion.
• Ability to understand student needs and provide appropriate guidance.
• Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.
• Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
