As a senior developer, primary responsibility is to build, test and deployment of functionalities in Bosch ProductBackbone (BOP).
This product is an application used by all division of Bosch worldwide. BOP is located on a SAP S/4HANA system and using S4/HANA core functionalities.

Should be able to understand the business needs and implement the requirements in SAP ABAP, AMDP, Axway APIManger and CDS views.
Ability to be able to learn and understand the business processes and to improve efficiency and performance ofcurrent application using new technologies.
Solve business issues by analyzing existing code and proposing solutions using SAP S/4 HANA core functionalities.
Prepare technical design documents for unit testing and integration support.
Driving quality and standards in our software engineering community, providing and discussing innovative solutionapproaches and suggestions for improvement in the development.
Work closely with IT Development Leads to ensure successful completion of User Stories within committedtimeframe.
Ability to represent and argue your the technical and implementation decisions.
Develop application code and prepare technical design documents for unit testing and integration support
Write end user documents, document using UML
Continually enhance existing skills and seek new areas for personal development
3rd Level Support within own component in case of defects are not found in your quality assurance but occur onproductive system
Required skills:
5+ years in SAP ABAP on HANAProgramming languages and skills
ABAP (Other languages of advantage)
UMLDevelopment experiences : In particular knowledge of databases features (SAP HANA 2.0)
Good knowledge in technical areas like CDS Views, AMDP and OOPs concept. Fiori is a plus.
Business Processes
MDM processes in Material master incl. Connected objects (Material classification, Document info records,Engineering Change Master, Bill of Material & Purchase info records)
Documentation of technical functions and understanding of UML
Working knowledge of tools: SAP ABAP Development Tools (ADT)
