Position Overview
Pirgal Consulting is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA Inter) to join our Legal & Compliance team as a Legal Associate / Legal Compliance Executive. The role involves supporting legal, taxation, and regulatory compliance functions for clients. The candidate will work closely with senior professionals and partners while gaining hands-on exposure to corporate laws, tax regulations, and compliance management.
Key Responsibilities
Legal & Regulatory Compliance
- Assist in managing legal and regulatory compliance related to corporate laws, GST, and Income Tax.
- Support in preparing and reviewing legal documentation, agreements, and compliance records.
- Assist in drafting replies, submissions, and documentation for notices received from regulatory authorities.
- Maintain proper records of statutory filings, compliance documents, and legal correspondence.
Compliance & Documentation
- Assist in monitoring statutory deadlines and ensuring timely regulatory filings.
- Prepare and maintain compliance trackers and regulatory documentation.
- Coordinate with clients to collect required documents for legal and compliance processes.
- Support in preparing compliance reports and maintaining organized legal records.
Legal Research & Support
- Conduct research on corporate laws, tax laws, and regulatory updates.
- Assist senior team members in handling compliance-related assignments.
- Provide regular updates to the Partner/Manager regarding assigned work and compliance status.
Requirements
- Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA Inter) – Both groups completed preferred.
- Articleship experience in taxation, compliance, legal documentation, or regulatory work will be an advantage.
- Basic understanding of Income Tax, GST, and corporate compliance procedures.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
