*Job Description – Semarchy MDM Implementation Consultant (Snowflake)*

*Position Overview*

We are looking for an experienced Semarchy MDM Implementation Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Semarchy xDM, xDI, and Snowflake. The consultant will be responsible for implementing and supporting Master Data Management solutions using Semarchy's Unified Data Platform, with a focus on data modeling, match/merge, survivorship, data quality, governance, and data integration.

The role requires close collaboration with data stewards, data engineers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to design, configure, deploy, and support MDM solutions running on Snowflake.

Working Hours:US Hours – 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST

*Key Responsibilities*

Configure and extend Semarchy xDM data models, entity views, match/merge rules, survivorship rules, and validation workflows.

Implement MDM solutions across domains such as Customer, Supplier, Product, and Item Master.

Design and develop Semarchy xDI integration jobs to load, cleanse, transform, and synchronize data between Snowflake and source/target systems.

Deploy and configure Semarchy xDM as a Snowflake Native App, including roles, warehouses, data sharing, and related Snowflake configurations.

Develop and optimize Snowflake SQL, including tables, views, stored procedures, tasks, and streams.

Build and maintain MDM staging, publication, and reporting layers within Snowflake.

Configure data quality rules, deduplication logic, hierarchies, relationships, and survivorship processes.

Work with data governance teams and business stakeholders to convert business requirements into MDM configurations and data stewardship workflows.

Support UAT, defect triage, troubleshooting, performance tuning, release management, and go-live activities.

Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure MDM outputs are properly integrated with the broader Snowflake data platform architecture.

Prepare and maintain data models, source-to-target mappings, technical documentation, and operational runbooks.

Manage assigned deliverables independently and communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.

3+ years of hands-on experience with Semarchy xDM.

Ability to integrate Semarchy with multiple source and target systems.

Snowflake

Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.

Advanced Snowflake SQL development.

Experience deploying Semarchy xDM as a Snowflake Native App through the Snowflake Marketplace model.

Experience working with Supplier, Procurement, Product, Customer, or Item Master Data.

Exposure to modern cloud data integration and orchestration tools such as:

Fivetran

dbt

Snowflake Tasks/Streams

Other ETL/ELT platforms

Semarchy certification or formal MDM/Data Governance training.

Previous experience delivering MDM implementation projects in consulting or contract environments.

Experience working directly with business stakeholders, data stewards, and data engineering teams.
