- Support the standardization of rack and elevating-structure designs for the Capacitor & Filter unit.
- Perform mechanical verification of capacitor bank structures and assemblies.
- Perform seismic analysis for capacitor bank structures
- Coordinate and review seismic analysis performed by external and internal sources and prepare reports and provide conformance to requirements.
- Create and maintain 3D models, drawings, design rules, interfaces, and engineering templates for these structures.
- Review existing designs, identify common requirements, and help develop practical standard solutions for the Capacitor & Filter unit.
- Coordinate with product engineering, project engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure standardized solutions meet functional, safety, quality, manufacturability, transportation, installation, and cost requirements.
- Define standard materials, components, interfaces, tolerances, and fastening methods while reducing unnecessary design variations.
- Support implementation of standardized designs in active projects and provide technical clarification to internal teams and suppliers.
- Apply appropriate mechanical design calculations and engineering judgment; coordinate specialized structural validation when required.
- Ensure all necessary design inputs are available from stakeholders, perform self-review, and participate in peer reviews.
- Deliver high-quality designs and standardization activities on schedule while coordinating closely with team members and project lead engineers.
- Maintain and update engineering documentation, standard libraries, revision records, and project deliverables in accordance with the quality process.

Documentation
Maintain controlled and up-to-date 3D models, drawings, specifications, standard libraries, design guidelines, calculation records, and revision history in accordance with applicable quality processes.
Your Background
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, with 5–9 years of relevant mechanical design experience.
- Hands-on experience designing fabricated steel racks, support frames, elevating structures, or comparable industrial equipment.
- Hand on experience in Structural engineering using, Ansys& CAD tools.
- Strong proficiency with 3D CAD and drawing tools; experience with PTC Creo and Autodesk applications is preferred.
- Familiarity with codes and applicable standards applicable for structure design (American, European, DNVGL etc.) is Mandatory.
- Knowledge of international standards such as IEC/ IEEE / ANSI, DNVGL Seismic zones and Response spectra.
- Good understanding of design for manufacturability, welding, bolted connections, tolerances, material selection, corrosion protection, and assembly practices.
- Experience with product standardization, modular design, configurable platforms, value engineering, and design reuse is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret applicable mechanical-design codes, internal engineering standards, customer specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
- Experience with product lifecycle management, engineering change control, bills of materials, and controlled technical documentation is preferred.
- Team player with strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
