We are actively seeking a seasoned System Security Engineer with comprehensive expertise in Linux, general networking, KVM, and Windows, and a primary focus on security. As a key contributor to our security team, you will play a critical role in securing our infrastructure, conducting thorough audits, and implementing robust security measures. Responsibilities:

Linux/Windows Security:

• Implement and maintain security best practices for Linux/Windows servers and systems.
• Harden Linux/Windows environments by configuring and optimizing security settings to mitigate potential vulnerabilities.

Security Hardening:

• Extend security best practices to infrastructure, KVM nodes, and Windows environments.
• Implement measures to fortify systems against potential threats.

Audit and Compliance:

• Conduct regular security audits to identify and address potential weaknesses in the network architecture, Linux systems, and containerized environments.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Penetration Testing:

• Perform regular penetration tests to assess the security posture of the network, Linux, Windows, and KVM nodes.
• Analyze and report on vulnerabilities, providing recommendations for remediation.

Linux/Windows Administration:

• Provide expertise in Linux system administration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Collaborate with system administrators to ensure the secure and efficient operation of Linux/Windows-based systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Network/System Security Engineer with expertise in Linux, Windows, and KVM security.
• Strong knowledge of Linux server administration, security principles, and best practices.
• Extensive hands-on experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• In-depth understanding of networking protocols, routing, and switching.
• Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) are highly desirable.
