Job Title-Security Solution Architect

Location- Bangalore/Delhi NCR

Position Type- Fulltime

Required experience- 10+yrs of relevant experience

The Global Security Architecture team is seeking a strategy minded Security Solution Architect. The Security Architecture team values creative problem solvers who will not just admire problems but identify paths to positive outcomes. The Security Solution Architect is responsible for designing and guiding the implementation of secure, scalable, and resilient technology solutions across the organization. You will work closely with enterprise architects, security teams, infrastructure and application teams, and business stakeholders to ensure that security is embedded into our solutions by design, not bolted on at the end.

What the day will look like

  • Architecture & Design
    • Design end-to-end security architectures for new and existing solutions (applications, cloud, infrastructure, data, and integrations).
    • Develop and maintain security reference architectures, patterns, and standards.
    • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Solution Delivery Support
    • Work with product teams and project squads to translate business and technical requirements into secure solution designs.
    • Conduct security design reviews, threat modeling, and architecture risk assessments.
    • Provide security guidance on technology choices (e.g., IAM, encryption, network security, logging/monitoring).
  • Cloud & Infrastructure Security
    • Define secure configurations and architectures for cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and on‑prem infrastructure.
    • Partner with DevOps/Platform teams to design secure CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code patterns.
    • Promote zero-trust principles, network segmentation, and least-privilege access.
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
    • Design authentication and authorization models, including role- and attribute-based access control.
    • Integrate solutions with enterprise IAM platforms (SSO, MFA, PAM, directory services).
  • Standards, Governance & Risk
    • Contribute to security policies, standards, and guidelines, and ensure solutions comply with them.
    • Map solution designs to relevant frameworks and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, GDPR, HIPAA as applicable).
    • Identify security risks and trade-offs in solution designs and document recommended mitigations.
  • Collaboration & Advisory
    • Act as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders on security implications of design decisions.
    • Educate engineers and product owners on secure-by-design principles and best practices.
    • Participate in architecture review boards and security governance forums.
  • Monitoring, Detection & Response Enablement
    • Define logging, monitoring, and alerting requirements to support security operations (SOC, SIEM, EDR/XDR).
    • Ensure solutions produce the right telemetry to support incident detection, investigation, and response.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Experience working with and designing strategic solutions that are easily consumable and deployable, inclusive of security standards and common design patterns.
  • Experience designing integrations of diverse environments in a secure manor for M&A activity.
  • Collaborative mindset, with a focus on creative problem solving, and ability to build alliances across varied stakeholders.
  • Experience with diverse security technologies across the spectrum (network, cloud, endpoint, etc security tooling).

Preferred

  • Experience working with AWS and Azure platforms and their security services
  • Experience in cloud migrations or shifting legacy technology to cloud native solutions
  • Experience working with a global team and liaising with both IT and non-IT colleagues.
  • Comfortable working in a sometimes opaque environment
  • Previous experience in a regulated financial services environment
  • Experience leading design and implementation of security tooling

Education

  • BA/BS degree or international equivalent in a relevant subject or equivalent work experience.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP or other industry standards
