Job Summary:
JLL is seeking a detail-oriented Security and Safety Officer to ensure the security and safety of residents and properties within our residential portfolio in Bangalore. The successful candidate will implement and monitor security protocols, respond to emergencies, and create a safe living environment for all residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and regularly review comprehensive security protocols for residential properties
- Oversee the security team and coordinate their daily activities, scheduling, and training
- Conduct regular security risk assessments and recommend improvements to existing security systems
- Monitor and maintain security equipment including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems
- Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and resident complaints
- Maintain accurate security logs and prepare detailed incident reports
- Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Conduct fire safety drills and ensure all fire safety equipment is properly maintained and functional
- Enforce property rules and regulations in a professional and tactful manner
- Develop and implement disaster management and evacuation plans
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in security management, preferably in residential settings
- Strong knowledge of security systems, emergency procedures, and safety protocols
- Experience managing security personnel and operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents from diverse backgrounds
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with security management software
- Valid security certification and training (as per local requirements)
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to residential security
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions during emergencies
- Experience in fire safety management and disaster response planning
