About the Role
As a Security Program Manager, you will drive and govern security programs across cloud, infrastructure, network, and enterprise environments. You will be responsible for tracking execution, managing security incidents, and ensuring risk visibility, while coordinating closely with Infrastructure, Platform, Enterprise IT, Security, and Leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
- 5+ Yrs of Experience to manage end-to-end execution of security programs across cloud, infrastructure, network, and enterprise security domains.
- Drive program tracking, governance, and reporting, including dashboards, KPIs, OKRs, and leadership updates.
- Partner with Infrastructure, Platform, Enterprise IT, SRE, and Security teams to ensure implementation of security controls and initiatives.
- Establish and maintain risk tracking frameworks across cloud, infrastructure, and enterprise environments.
- Define and monitor security metrics such as:
- Incident trends and MTTR
- SLA adherence
- Risk exposure and remediation timelines
- Lead and manage Security Incident Management (IM):
- Track incidents from detection to closure
- Ensure timely triage, escalation, and resolution
- Drive and document Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Track and enforce closure of post-incident action items
- Ensure visibility, accountability, and governance across all ongoing security initiatives and incidents.
- Facilitate cross-functional coordination during incidents and high-severity events.
- Support audit, compliance, and enterprise security requirements through proper tracking and documentation.
- Identify gaps and drive process improvements and automation in security operations and program management.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in program/project management, with focus on cloud, infrastructure, network, or enterprise security.
- Strong understanding of:
- Cloud security (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Infrastructure & network security
- Enterprise security (endpoints, identity, access, IT systems)
- Security incident management processes
- Proven experience in running and tracking cross-functional security programs.
- Hands-on experience with incident tracking, RCA, and closure governance.
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and security metrics.
- Excellent stakeholder management across engineering, infra, enterprise IT, and leadership teams.
- Strong communication skills with ability to present risk, incidents, and program status to leadership.
- Familiarity with compliance and audit processes.

Good to Have
- Exposure to SOC operations, SIEM tools, and incident response workflows.
- Understanding of Kubernetes, cloud-native infrastructure, networking, and enterprise IT environments.
- Certifications like CISSP, CISM, PMP, or equivalent.
- Experience building security dashboards or metrics reporting systems.
Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- MBA or relevant certifications in program/project management or cybersecurity (preferred).
