Supplier.io is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Security Operations Coordinator to join our Global Security and Compliance team. This is an entry-level role designed for someone beginning their career in information security, privacy, or compliance.
This position focuses on carrying out established security and compliance processes, ensuring tasks are completed accurately, consistently, and on time. The role does not require advanced technical security knowledge and is intended as a starting point for developing security, compliance, and privacy expertise. Strong process discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to follow documented procedures end-to-end are essential for success.
The Security Operations Coordinator will work closely with security team members and cross-functional partners to initially support customer requests, data subject requests, and access review processes.
What You Will Do
- Manage customer request activities by following established procedures to ensure systems access, data handling requirements are met, and all steps are fully documented.
- Coordinate and execute Data Subject Request workflows, including intake, tracking, evidence collection, and completion in accordance with defined timelines and procedures
- Administer and track periodic access reviews, ensuring reviewers complete required actions and that results are accurately recorded and validated.
- Maintain detailed records, checklists, and audit evidence to demonstrate full completion of security and compliance processes.
- Monitor task status, follow up on outstanding actions, and escalate issues when timelines or requirements are at risk.
- Update and maintain process documentation, runbooks, and templates as procedures evolve.
- Support audits and assessments by gathering evidence and confirming completion of required operational tasks.
- Collaborate with Security, IT, Legal, and other business teams to ensure processes are executed consistently across the organization.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency or reduce manual effort within existing workflows.

- Experience with Microsoft 365, including SharePoint or Power Automate.
- Exposure to ticketing systems, workflow tools, or GRC platforms.
- Prior experience in operations, IT support, compliance, or administrative roles.
