Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Security Engineer with hands-on experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) activities, security monitoring, incident investigation, and threat detection. The candidate should have experience working with SIEM tools and knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools.
• Analyze security logs and investigate suspicious activities.
• Perform initial triage, investigation, and escalation of security incidents.
• Support threat hunting activities to identify potential threats and unusual behavior.
• Use the MITRE ATT&CK framework to understand attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures.
• Assist with incident response, containment, and remediation activities.
• Monitor security events across endpoints, networks, servers, and cloud environments.
• Prepare incident reports, investigation findings, and security documentation.
• Collaborate with SOC and SecOps teams to improve threat detection and response.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in SOC or Security Operations, Lead-8+Years
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, IBM QRadar, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of security monitoring, log analysis, and incident triage.
• Understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Basic experience in threat hunting and incident response.
• Knowledge of networking, firewalls, endpoint security, and common cyber threats.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with EDR/XDR tools.
• Knowledge of security incident management and threat intelligence.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CySA+, or equivalent are an advantage.
