We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Management Engineer to join our Secure Infrastructure Platform tribe for a 6-month assignment. The ideal candidate will be a strong problem-solver with deep expertise in Ivanti NAC and practical experience in secrets management. This role involves critical work on internal audits, system migrations, and the adoption of cutting-edge security technologies within a globally distributed environment.
Responsibilities:
- Secrets Management: Drive and manage secrets management initiatives, including handling annual internal audits related to secrets, ensuring compliance and security.
- Ivanti NAC Management & Migration:Lead and participate in the migration of Ivanti NAC instances from dedicated hardware to virtual appliances.
- Manage and maintain IP addresses during and after the migration process.
- Oversee the decommissioning of existing Ivanti NAC hardware by year-end.
- Ensure the successful deployment and configuration of Ivanti NAC virtual appliances (e.g., 6000v, PSA 7000, PSA 3000 for testing).
- Address specific network access control requirements, including those for WLAN NAC, where no dedicated testing instance currently exists.
- Architecture & Automation:Create and maintain the overall security architecture related to Ivanti NAC and secrets management.
- Automate security solutions and operational tasks using one or more programming languages.
- Collaboration & Communication:Successfully interface and connect with skilled technologists and non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
- Negotiate and build consensus between stakeholders where competing priorities exist, leveraging strong influencing skills.
- Reporting & Agile Practices:Prepare and review monthly status reports and statistics for security management initiatives.
- Work effectively within an Agile methodology, demonstrating strong work management, organizational, and planning skills.
- Technology Adoption: Help drive the adoption of Ivanti technologies across the organization.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Total Years of Experience: 5+ years in Security Engineering or a related field.
- Relevant Years of Experience: 3+ years specifically with Ivanti NAC and/or secrets management.
- Ivanti NAC Expertise: Minimum 5+ years of Ivanti NAC experience, particularly with globally distributed, large-scale implementations.
- Cloud Security: Familiarity with cloud security best practices to support a globally distributed environment across multiple platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Agile Methodology: Experience working within an Agile development methodology.
- Education: B.Tech degree in Computer or Information Sciences or a similar field preferred.
Mandatory Skills:
- Ivanti NAC security (implementation, migration, and management).
- Secrets Management experience (handling internal audits, security best practices).
Desired/Secondary Skills:
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages for automation.
- Experience with network migration projects.
- Understanding of large-scale infrastructure environments.
