Job Overview
We are seeking a Junior Security Engineering professional to join our dynamic team in Bhubaneswar. As a full-time member of our security operations, you will help safeguard Jios cutting-edge technology infrastructure and support the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of advanced security systems across our digital platforms.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions, including deployment and incident management (Mandatory skill).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Disk Encryption technologies, ensuring data protection and compliance within enterprise environments (Mandatory skill).
- Strong practical knowledge of Qualys or Tenable for vulnerability assessment and continuous security monitoring (Mandatory skill).
- Familiarity with Trend Micro Deep Security Module (DSM) and its integration with other security solutions for enhanced threat protection.
- Hands-on knowledge of security strategies involving Antimalware solutions to detect, remove, and prevent malicious software infections.
- Experience with Trend Micro Deep Security product suite for comprehensive cloud and network security coverage.
- Understanding of patch management processes, including identifying, deploying, and verifying security updates across hybrid environments.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills for interpreting security risks and providing actionable recommendations for improvements.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and monitor EDR systems to detect and respond to real-time threats across a large-scale enterprise network.
- Implement and manage Microsoft Disk Encryption technologies to ensure secure storage and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct vulnerability scanning and assessment using Qualys or Tenable, coordinating remediation with relevant teams.
- Support the integration and management of Trend Micro solutions, including Deep Security Modules and DSM, to enhance endpoint protection.
- Regularly update and maintain antimalware software to ensure ongoing protection against emerging threats.
- Participate in patch management workflow, collaborating with IT teams to ensure timely application of security updates.
- Assist in security incident response, root cause analysis, and resolution of security issues in a cloud-native environment.
- Prepare security documentation, reports, and contribute to ongoing process improvements and security awareness initiatives.
