About Position
We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer with strong expertise in governance, risk, and compliance to strengthen our enterprise security posture. The role focuses on aligning security practices with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS, while driving risk management, audit readiness, and control implementation across the organization. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, improve security maturity, and support continuous security improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do
- Drive security governance initiatives and ensure alignment with frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS).
- Perform security risk assessments, control testing, and gap analysis; maintain risk registers and mitigation plans.
- Support customer and internal audits by preparing evidence, policies, standards, and procedures.
- Define and maintain information security policies, standards, and compliance checklists.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and cloud teams to implement and validate security controls.
- Assist in vulnerability management and remediation tracking (coordination with SOC/IT teams).
- Support incident response lifecycle from compliance perspective (playbooks, reporting, lessons learned).
- Create security awareness inputs and contribute to continuous improvement of security posture.
Expertise You'll Bring
- 7+ years of security experience with strong focus on compliance and security frameworks.
- Hands-on exposure to NIST CSF/800-series concepts, ISO 27001 controls, and PCI-DSS requirements.
- Ability to translate compliance requirements into implementable technical and process controls.
- Understanding of security domains: IAM, endpoint security, network security, SDLC security, logging/SIEM basics.
- Strong documentation skills: policies, SOPs, audit evidence, and control narratives.
- Stakeholder management skills to work with internal teams and customer auditors.
- Preferred: Certifications such as ISO 27001 LA/LI, CISA, CISSP, CCSP, Security+, or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/IT/Cybersecurity or equivalent; relevant security certifications preferred.
